Eliot’s role connects research development, industry and policy teams across the University of Birmingham and its partners to drive major research innovation and investment programmes aligned to Life Sciences. He leads PIONEER activity around sustainability, leveraging the value of collaborative working across the region, particularly through Birmingham Health Partners, to ensure that our outstanding NHS and academic infrastructure and expertise are most effectively targeted to capitalise on local, regional and national partnerships in the development and delivery of transformative research and innovation for improvements in patient care.
